The Christian Neuroscience Society’s topic this year is the nature of the Soul in light of neuroscience. Francis Crick opines in his book entitled, The Astonishing Hypothesis: The Scientific Search for the Soul, "Not only do the beliefs of most popular religions contradict each other but, by scientific standards, they are based on evidence so flimsy that only an act of blind faith can make them acceptable." But, is the contention that the soul is a spiritual entity based upon blind faith? The time, date, and location of this year’s stimulating topic will be announced at www.cneuroscience.org.
